Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Background and Fingerprinting Checks Update
The State of Pennsylvania released an update today (March 7, 2017), stating applicants no longer are required to complete fingerprinting background checks for medical marijuana application submissions.
The Permit Application’s “Attachment A: Signature Page” requires select “Background Checks” on page 2. By the time you submit your permit application to the Department or by the close of the application period on March 20, 2017.
When the State background and fingerprinting system is accessible, the Department will issue an update to notify all applicants when and how to complete their required background and fingerprint checks.
