National Marijuana Business Conference & Expo
Dates Nov 12-14
Las Vegas, NV

Discounts: Here

Having just wrapped up the 2013 conference in early November, the 2014 Medical Marijuana Business Daily event is slated to be held in Las Vegas. This will be the third annual event, possibly larger than its predecessors, which spanned two days with 20 sessions, including keynote speakers such as Steve DeAngelo of Harborside Health Center in Oakland, Calif. Previous years have sold out well in advance of the conference.

CannaBusiness Symposium
Dates TBA
Various Areas of the Country

The National Cannabis Industry Association holds several industry events around the country, with local speakers and presenters from the area, making this a more personalized event for each region. The Northwest CannaBusiness Symposium will be held on February 1 in downtown Portland, Ore. Other events will be announced online at http://thecannabisindustry.org/events.

NORML Conferences
Dates TBA
Various Locations

The oldest and largest marijuana reform organization will host its 43rd annual National Conference in 2014, in addition to hundreds of events across the country throughout the year. There is no doubt a chapter near you, so get on board and find out when your local conference will be held. The National Conference is held in the fall.

CannaBusiness Money Show
April 2-7
Boston, Chicago, San Francisco

Yet another Medical Marijuana Business Daily event is the CannaBusiness Money Show, an event focused on all things financial: profitability, taxes, cash management and investor relations, just to name a few. This single-day event will be held in three locations with a finite number of tickets available. If money happens to be important to your business, this is the place to be.

National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference 2014
April 5-7
Washington, D.C.

One of the few east coast events, the 2nd Annual National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference will take place in Washington, D.C. This is as much a direct lobbying event as it is an educational one, including the largest march on Washington for safe access. 2013’s event had over 300 patients, providers, activists, medical and legal professionals march on Washington during lobby day.

The Eighth National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics
May 8-10
Portland, OR

It’s been said that there is more medical marijuana information at this event than most other events combined. That’s because the focus is truly on the medicinal properties of cannabis and how they are used in a medical sense. Past topics have included the Endocannabinoid System, The Mind-Body Connection and Science-Based Clinical Applications. This event is only held on even years, so you won’t have another chance to get this much information in one place for two years. Continuing education credits have been offered in the past.

Cannabis Career Institute Events
Planned Events Through March
Various Locations

The Cannabis Career Institute was created to focus on the business technique of creating, branding and marketing a collective. Rather than simply giving out information on the medical marijuana industry itself, CCI offers full-day events to prepare entrepreneurs to begin a successful cannabusiness.

Michigan Medical Marijuana Conference
Dates TBA
Traverse City, MI

The 7th Annual Conference offers a full day of growing classes for a fraction of the typical conference price. Just outside Traverse City, MI, this free event offers speakers, vendors and entertainment.

HEMPCON
Jan. 17-19 (San Jose)
April 18-20 (San Bernardino)

One of the country’s largest cannabis events is HempCon, a medical marijuana show including exhibitors, seminars and presentations from industry leaders, advocates and attorneys. The 2014 ‘Seed to Smoke Tour’ will be held in twice, once in San Jose in January and a second event will take place in San Bernardino over 420 weekend. The event itself is geared more toward patients and advocates, but businesses can find a place for themselves in the exhibitor arena.

Seattle HempFest
Aug. 15-17
Seattle, WA

With a speaker list a mile long, this three-day political rally and demonstration against America’s laws criminalizing and imprisoning people who use cannabis is one of the most widely-known events in the country. Hempfest seeks to advance the cause of cannabis policy reform through education with it’s 23rd annual event. With activists speaking throughout the event and presenters from every major marijuana name in the country, this event is truly an advocate’s paradise.
