    You are only allowed to cultivate four plants. Not 3 mature plants and three immature plants and unlimited seedlings. That would get you a felony. Over 4 and up to 10 is a 225 dollar civil penalty for the first violation. Over ten is a felony with mandatory jail time. You should be more careful about your research, that kind of mistake could get somebody locked up.
